Happy Saturday and happy first newsletter of February! Are you watching the Super Bowl tomorrow? We sort of lost interest once we knew our Cincy Bengals weren’t going to be in it so I’m mostly here for the commercials and the old school Usher songs.
The bigger question on my mind is who is ready for Spring and one of the best times of the year (if you like to clean)….Spring Cleaning? Don’t worry we aren’t starting just yet, but I’m starting to plan for it now so I have things ready to go for you come time. So stay tuned for all of that. In the meantime I updated my regular cleaning checklist! As I was working through the old one I found that it wasn’t detailed enough. So I made this one a little more thorough and I’m including a blank version incase you want to create your own. Grab that below and keep reading for more!

Q:
What are the best products to take away pet smells and pet stains on rugs?
A:
Enzyme cleaners! They are truly one of the best solutions for pet messes. Think of enzymes as little pac-man like cleaners that break down the mess then eat it. Follow the instructions on the bottle. Some you spray and leave and others you spray and blot up and some you dilute and others you don’t or they are a pre-made cleaning solutions. The longer the enzymes sit there the more they work. So give them time to do their thing but they work great! And for set in stains you know I love a good upholstery cleaner like the Shark Stain Striker or the Bissell Little Green.

1 Thing to Organize in Your Fridge
Don’t let Pinterest fool you. A bin for every single thing in your fridge is unnecessary and unrealistic. Instead, organize the staples that are always in there. One example is eggs (if you eat eggs). Organizers for eggs make them easier to grab with one hand and look nice too. I’ve linked some of my favorites here.

Bloom Towels
Bloom Towels launched their Spring collection and as always they are SO cute and their spring line from last year is still available too.

Smelly clothes from sitting next to a bonfire?
Stick them in the freezer if you can’t wash them right away to get rid of the odors. You can also spray with vodka to neutralize the odor. When you wash them add 1/4 – 1/2 cup of vinegar to the softener department. This will help neutralize the odor and naturally soften your clothes at the same time.
Thanks so much for being a part of the Jill Comes Clean community!

I just want to compliment you on your website and overall program. The overall look is attractive and I LOVE LOVE LOVE cleaning. (Not so keen on picking up).
